In July it’s quite hot in Freiburg, and as you know already the best spots for swimming, I want to share another fun activity to cool down: hiking. Hiking? Isn’t it way too hot for hiking?, you might ask. And yes, it seems like that, but in the forest the temperature is actually cooler than in the city.
This month it definitely got warmer and what is better than a swim in the cold water on a hot day? I like cities with water, it doesn’t matter if it is a river flowing through the city or if the city is built on a lake. So, lucky me that I’m living in Freiburg, where there are several lakes and a river!
I have been living now about half a year in Freiburg and I really fell in love with the city. So I thought it would be nice to tell you a little bit about my favourite things to do here.
